Taquitos – adobo braised turkey with red chile chocolate mole / housemade duck sausage with ancho-pomegranate barbacoa / kobe beef albondigas with guajillo chile tomato sauce.

Calamari “chichirrones” appetizer / “el thermidor” lobster + rock shrimp quesdailla / cream cheese flan with spicy pepita brittle

Saturday, November 3, is dia de los muertos celebration from 2 p.m.-5 p.m. for family, friends and kids. Day will include face painters, costume contest, piniatas and hay bail corn pit on the patio.

Fall/winter tequila dinners will be held on the following Wednesdays: November 7, December 5, January 23, February 27 and March 26. Cost is $40 per person for five courses including tequila. (that’s very reasonable)

On Saturday, October 27th, Heritage Lane Farm is teaming up with Spice of Life Catering for another unforgettable dining experience.

Please join us for our Fireside Cast Iron Cookout and Hayride at Heritage Lane Bison Farm in Salem, Ohio. We will tour the pre Civil War farmhouse, garden and pastures and watch the bison roam. Listen to and experience of the Swope family’s return to low impact farming of grass fed bison and heirloom veggies. There is a flash of the past the burns bright on the Swope family farm.

Dutch oven stews, char grilled flank steak; hearth breads and hand-harvested veggies are what you can expect at this special Plated Landscapes event. Seating is limited, so be sure to call or email to reserve your seat by Saturday, October 20th.

    Wow – i wish I would have discovered your blog last week! I just spent the weekend in Cleveland and I can definitely agree that ya’ll have a nice little hidden culinary nugget. It’s a foodie’s dream world!

    Fiber: Glad you found the blog and thanks for sharing your thoughts on our great city. Hopefully you will be coming back to Cleveland soon. Where were you visiting from?

    Rock and Roller: Try calling Spice of Life at 440.623.9990. I’m sure they can answer all of your questions. If you go, please let me know how it was. I will be in NYC for work. Otherwise, I’d go. I’ve heard great things about their previous events like this.
