hello, michael? my turkey is dry and the stuffing is blah – help!

How would you like a little professional help this holiday season from Michael Symon? While the Iron Chef may not be able to help you survive the holidays with the in-laws or that one uncle no one likes, he can help you solve some of your most challenging holiday culinary dilemmas.

Starting this November, The Food Network will air a new series called Dear Food Network, featuring Symon plus other network chefs answering viewer questions about Thanksgiving and other holiday culinary disasters, as well as suggestions for leftovers, tips for cooking large meals, etc.

The best video questions will be aired during the show. Some fans will even have the opportunity to be flown in to sit in the audience. Talk about a nice gift for Christmas.

In total, there will be eight shows. Other chefs include Bobby Flay, Paula Deen and Giada DeLaurentis. For more info, or to learn how to participate, click here.

This might be the next best thing to spending the holidays with Michael. Scratch that. The next best thing would be having Michael actually cook the entire meal for you. But it’s definitely up there and great to see him continue to generate national attention. Pretty soon this guy is going to take over The Food Network!

Do you know when Michael’s episodes of Dinner: Impossible begin airing? I looked briefly today but it appears it’s still all about the fraud guy.
