As I mentioned in my previous post about Luxe, we visited our friend’s store, Room Service, and neighboring duoHome this past weekend. Both of these boutiques offer unique accessories and furnishings for the home. We were immediately impressed with each store’s offerings and approach to retail in Cleveland, mostly their dedication to supporting goods made right here.
This weekend, Room Service will be highlighting art, accessories and gifts made locally with an event called Made in the 216.
Room Service will transform its space into several mini boutiques to represent each 
of the different works. Participants include: Small Screen Designs, Little Korboose, BCTZ, Honey Bee Linens, Finley Handmade and Buzz Buzz Designs. The event starts on Friday with a wine and cheese reception from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m., plus shopping on Saturday from noon – 5 p.m.

duoHome is also hosting an opening reception on Friday starting at 6 p.m. featuring Cleveland artist Laurel Herbold.
last night after dinner at luxe i was drooling looking into the windows of those two stores. i must go when they are open!
