crop bistro happenings

Just received word on some pretty tempting happenings at Crop Bistro, including Sunday brunch before the big game:

  • Beginning September 17, Wednesdays are Tour de Crop nights at Crop Bistro & Bar, featuring a prix fixe, seven-course tasting menu specially designed by chef-owner Steve Schimoler to highlight his innovative American cuisine. Offered Wednesday nights only, Tour de Crop is entirely chef’s choice, with a sumptuous sampling of tastes, treats, and unique surprises that change weekly. Cost is $65 per person, and the entire table must book the “tour.” Reservations are required by calling 216.696.2767.
  • Weather permitting, the Thursday afternoon happy hour, Cheap Thrills from a Hot Grill, will continue on the covered sidewalk patio, from 5 to 7 p.m. $5 menu items include select cocktails, lamb sliders, savory flatbreads, plump tacos, and other seasonal offerings.
  • Check out Sunday Supper every Sunday evening from 5 to 9 p.m., for a specially priced, three-course dinner that includes a bounteous Crop Salad and warm cornbread, a choice of entrees and homemade dessert du jour, for only $25.
  • Starting November 2, and on every home Browns’ game (11/23, 11/30 and 12/21), head to crop for Sunday brunch, featuring fan faves like bratwurst, eggs Benedict, and brisket-topped macaroni and cheese (yum!).
