I don’t know Anissa Mayhew. And until last week, I never even heard her name. That was until Amelia e-mailed several local bloggers asking for help. None of us know her. But she’s a fellow blogger. She’s a mom. She’s roughly my age. And she’s fighting for her life. And if God forbid something were to happen to me, my husband, our daughter or someone I care deeply about, I’d want people to help us.
Amelia is organizing a happy hour at The Greenhouse Tavern to raise funds to benefit Anissa’s family. December 3 // 5 p.m. to 7 p.m // Beer-wine-food specials
