Kelley - It was (except alcohol) and and I did, though rereading this post I see that I did not in the actually post and I believe that's a first for me. I am very transparent about when something is given to me (and despite what you may think, it's actually not that often) or when something is sponsored. I have nothing to hide, especially because whether something is given to me or not, that has zero impact on my review. There have been several times I've shared things I didn't care for that were given to me.

I like how you "support local" but make the daily exceptions to fit your needs. So, you really only support local because it is trendy, just like the Starbucks coffee you drink.

Regina - You make a good point about Table 45. Yes, to me it's a chain because it's in a Marriott and they are making something off of it. It's not like it's an independently owned operation that is leasing space. While I wouldn't call Zack's place a chain, I also did have a problem with its location, which I tried to explain in the initial review. But, like I said - AMP 150 proves to be an exception to the rule (at least my rule/view on chains). He's making a big effort to support local and now has my support as well because of it.

Robert: My favorite is Erie Island, I also like Loop, too. But those aren't close to my work/home so I have Starbucks (plus it's right there in target - a double whammpy!). I'm a regular at the Chagrin Falls location.

Which Starbuck's do you go to? I bet I could find a better choice for you.... Like Civilizations in Tremont, Gypsy Bean in Detroit Shoreway, Java Jive at UH campus... Since you do such a great job supporting local you should think about switching. I have issues with Starbucks. I have to say thanks for the heads up about this spot, as I would never have gone to the Airport Marriot to eat either....

I'm a snob when it comes to chicken paprikash so I would never order it at any restaurant. The only kind I ever eat is what my dad and grandma make because they've had years of Hungarian practice.

I don't know that I can drive over there for the restaurant, mostly because we like to go places after and I don't know where we'd go for the after dinner drink.

i'm like a few other here - never thought of this place as a chain just because it resides in a marriott. being east siders, we haven't made it out there, but look forward to it after all the positive word of mouth.

You're the third foodie that has written about AMP150. Sounds like Chef Cooley has got a great concept in food. Odd locations-yep, but sometimes that's what makes it.

From the other two foodies, such good things about the local ingredients and service.

Additionally, they both tweeted about their impending visit and Chef Cooley responded direct to help better serve them during their turn. How's that for service?!?!? Nice.

We gotta stop by to check this place out now. High up on our list.

Thanks

Great to read that you made the trip out there and that it was worth it! We've been meaning to, but it looks like we just need to buckle down and go now. I've heard that people are enjoying the food, but it was wonderful to read a more detailed review. Thanks!
