a very happy, happy hour

Our new favorite thing to do during the week is go to happy hour at Lolita in Tremont. It’s ideal for us – we are done eating by 7, get home to play with Stella, work out, or what not. Plus, it’s a nice way to break up the week. Lolita has a great happy hour: from 5 – 6:30 (and again 10 to close) they offer $2 beers, $4 glasses of wine or margaritas and a great food selection, $5 each. We typically split the Kobe beef burger, which comes with a fried egg – genious, the goat cheese mac n cheese and the prosciutto flat bread. They also have oysters, mussels, fish and chips, etc. Sometimes we end up getting dessert or a cheese plate – not on the HH menu, but so worth it. And we get out of there, tip and all, for $40! You can’t beat that. My husband is hooked on hitting the various happy hours in town versus spending $200 on a Saturday night meal. Other good ones to check out include Flying Fig, Momocho and Jac’s on W 6.

    Michelle,
Thanks for the mention of Jac’s.
I appreciate any word of mouth I can get, since we have done precious little advertising.
Let me know the next time your in.
    Sincerely,
